The update process for 0.1 to 0.2 is a bit different. I am creating a PPA version and a Non-PPA version of the Wunderlist FogApp for people who don't like using 3rd-party PPAs...which I understand...and for those people I built an in-app Version Checker for informing them of new updates to both the FogApp and to FogApp Themes.
Our newly released Wunderlist FogApp 0.2 now has support for Themes, something that is otherwise impossible with Wunderlist. :) The Wunderlist FogApp also supports a version update checking system for the FogApp itself (for non-PPA users) and any installed Themes (for all users). Theme updates are only available for Wunderlist FogApp OFFICIAL Themes as they have to be tested and verified by us (here at Visuex). The downloads for the themes almost must be hosted here at Visuex.com to utilize the Themes Update Checker...if you don't want to use that, then you can host it anywhere you want.
Wunderlist is an outstanding To-Do List application that has a WebApp and downloads for Android, iOS, Mac OSX, & Windows but unfortunately for my fellow Linux users Wunderlist does not currently have a Linux compatible version of their application. They did used to have one but sadly it does not work for the current version of Ubuntu which is 12.04...so we made our own!
Facebook has decided to require SSL certificates (https://) for all iFrame Facebook Apps as of October 1st, 2011. This decision has been met with mixed reactions and even I'm conflicted with what I think about it. On one hand, I agree with it because having a secure connection over non-secure will certainly help the casual users that use Facebook and have no need to know what it even is. On the other hand, I don't like it because it then requires people who make Facebook Apps for clients like I do to have SSL Certificates for each client/app. That would be a VERY BIG hassle to deal with especially on websites that have absolutely zero need for SSL, like this site which doesn't collect anything from its visitors.
This tutorial will show you how to quickly and very easily add the Google Chrome Frame meta tag to your Joomla templates with just one line of code.
