Here is a demo video of the project I am working on that will allow you to send media to play on your XBMC. The project supports multiple hosts and every file format that XBMC supports.

Google has just announced a price drop for their current Android Flagship Smartphone, the Nexus 4. This is great news for anyone looking to upgrade but don't want to deal with the carriers' contracts and other ripoffs.
A little over a year ago Canonical held the first ever Ubuntu App Showdown which resulted in some really cool apps like Fogger, LightRead and many more. Many of these apps brought some new innovative ideas to the Linux landscape especially with apps like Fogger. Unfortunately, in the long term, the Ubuntu App Showdown was a Failure. Will 2013 Showdown be any different?
Feedlyflare adds a 1-Click Button to a FeedBurner feed to allow people to easily subscribe to it via Feedly.

Want to watch Hollywood Movies on IMAX in Birmingham, AL? The short answer is "YOU CAN'T!" At the time of this article, there are two options that claim to be IMAX in Birmingham/Hoover unfortunately neither option deliver the experience.
I decided that I wanted a Linux related T-Shirt but I couldn't find one that I liked very much...Canonical makes decent shirts for Ubuntu but I want a "Linux in general" shirt not an Ubuntu shirt. I've searched and search, there are plenty of shirts out there but they are typically very poor quality or based solely around the logos of a distribution. Logo shirts are great for distros like Arch, Linux Mint, etc but again I want a "Linux in General" shirt.
The Zombieland Pilot from Amazon is just "WOW" but in the worst possible way because it's just completely AWFUL! They took an awesome movie and then butchered EVERYTHING that made it good. Here are many but not all of the reasons for how bad this show is...
The outstanding RSS Reader app called Feedly released a new version of the app with v14. Version 14 comes with a lot of new features, bug fixes, speed improvements and much more but unfortunately they decided to kill the "Mosaic" view (Grid) from v14. Feedly decided to replace the "Mosaic" view (my preferred view) with a new "Cards" view which essentially was an attempt to do the vertical column layout style made famous by Pinterest. In my opinion, and many others, this was a mistake. I decided to create a userstyle with the browser addon, Stylish. Before we get to the userstyle that I created and the reasons of why I created it...you should first know what a Userstyle is and what Stylish is.
Feedly is Awesome! For those who don't know, Feedly is a cross-platform and cross-browser RSS Reader app. I have used Feedly off and on for years now but due to the closure of Google Reader, Feedly has become a vastly more dominant force in the RSS realm. Feedly has a LOT of great features and tools but there was one thing I wanted to be a little bit easier, the process for adding new feeds (subscriptions) to the application.
Some people have expressed wanting to use my Spotify Ambiance theme but to also disable the Tray Menu entirely in order to just use the Sound Menu since having both is rather redundant. I agree with sentiment and this blog post is a tutorial on how to do just that. This tutorial also contains downloads to use the Disable the Tray Menu with the Ambiance theme and with the default Spotify theme.
